In a rapidly evolving educational landscape, the line between formal and non-formal learning is blurring. Our course delves into the transformative potential of merging these two domains. Participants will uncover the foundational principles of both formal education and non-formal learning, gaining insights into the competence-based approach.
The issue of the competence-based approach is very important in Europe’s labor market today. Skills being acquired through non-‐formal learning methodology are very much appreciated in almost all sections of personal and professional development.
Through a blend of theory, non-formal learning methods, and pactical exercises, this course offer participants the opportunity to learn how to design and implement their own non-formal education tools and methods, adapted to the specific needs of different target groups, as well as how to choose/design and implement appropriate monitoring, evaluation and assessment techniques.
Methods used include:
– Participatory techniques – evaluation and assessment
– Learning by doing – case studies
– Presentations – discussions/brainstorming
– Group work – practical exercises
