Gamify your Classroom!

Make learning irresistible with the power of play!
In this practical course, educators explore game-based strategies and digital tools to boost motivation, participation, and creativity in the classroom and in group activities.
Description
Discover how to make learning fun, interactive, and deeply engaging!
This course explores the power of gamification and playful learning to motivate students and enhance participation. Teachers and educators will experiment with digital tools, challenges, and storytelling techniques that can transform lessons into meaningful, game-like experiences.
Participants will learn how to design their own educational games and explore how to adapt game mechanics — such as collaboration, rewards, and curiosity — to different learning objectives and subjects.
Methods Used
The course is based on non-formal learning methodologies and digital tools:
- Hands-on experimentation with digital gamification tools (e.g., Baamboozle, Genially, Lumi, Kahoot)
- Design-thinking approach to create game-based lesson plans
- Peer learning and co-creation activities
- Reflection and discussion on motivation and engagement theories
These participatory tools ensure a balance between theory, hands-on practice, and personal insight.
